Description

Creamy vegan chocolate banana smoothie, naturally sweetened with dates and makes a great snack or a healthier dessert. 


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 3 pitted dates
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter, stirred before measuring
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup dairy-free milk

Instructions

  1. Add the frozen banana, dates, peanut butter, cocoa powder, and dairy-free milk to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust for sweetness and add more milk if you prefer it thinner.
  3. Best if enjoyed immediately.

Notes

If the dates are not very soft, add them to the blender with the milk and let them soak for about 10 minutes to soften.
