Description
This easy pineapple slushie is cold, frosty, and bursting with sweet-tart tropical flavor. It’s made with frozen pineapple, coconut water, orange juice, and lime juice, creating a refreshing frozen drink that’s bright, fruity, and easy to blend in minutes.
Ingredients
- 3 heaping cups (about 14.8 ounces/420 g) frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 ½ cups (354 ml) unsweetened coconut water or seltzer water
- ½ cup (118 ml) orange juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
Instructions
- Add the frozen pineapple, coconut water, orange juice, and lime juice to the blender and pulse to break up the pineapple.
- Then blend until no large chunks of pineapple are left.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy!
Notes
Weighing frozen pineapple is more accurate than packing a measuring cup with frozen pineapple. If you don't have a scale, try 3 heaping cups instead of 3 leveled-off cups.
To use fresh pineapple: trim, core, then cut the pineapple into small chunks. Add it to the blender with 2 ½ to 3 cups of ice, coconut water, orange juice, and lime juice. Then blend until the ice is broken up. Start with less ice then add more if needed.
