Description

This easy pineapple slushie is cold, frosty, and bursting with sweet-tart tropical flavor. It’s made with frozen pineapple, coconut water, orange juice, and lime juice, creating a refreshing frozen drink that’s bright, fruity, and easy to blend in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 heaping cups (about 14.8 ounces/420 g) frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1  ½ cups (354 ml) unsweetened coconut water or seltzer water
  • ½ cup (118 ml) orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)

Instructions

  1. Add the frozen pineapple, coconut water, orange juice, and lime juice to the blender and pulse to break up the pineapple.
  2. Then blend until no large chunks of pineapple are left.
  3. Pour into glasses and enjoy!

Notes

Weighing frozen pineapple is more accurate than packing a measuring cup with frozen pineapple.  If you don't have a scale, try 3 heaping cups instead of 3 leveled-off cups.

To use fresh pineapple: trim, core, then cut the pineapple into small chunks.  Add it to the blender with 2  ½ to 3 cups of ice, coconut water, orange juice, and lime juice.  Then blend until the ice is broken up.  Start with less ice then add more if needed.
