These healthy overnight oats with frozen fruit are easy to make and perfect for meal prep. Using frozen fruit is an easy way to have everything on hand to make a healthy breakfast for busy mornings.
Ingredients
Scale
- ½ cup (45 g) old-fashioned rolled oats
- ½ cup (118 ml) dairy-free milk
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup, or to taste
- ½ cup (70 g) frozen fruit (I use a mixed berry blend)
Instructions
- Mix the rolled oats, dairy-free milk, ground flaxseed, and maple syrup in a jar or a container with a lid.
- Then top with frozen fruit. Let the oats soak for at least 2-3 hours in the refrigerator or until the fruit is thawed, but overnight is best.
- Before consuming, stir the thawed fruit into the oats, and enjoy.
Notes
