This plant-based parmesan is made from grounded-up cashews and nutritional yeast. It's a great alternative to parmesan cheese and can be added to pizza and pasta.


  • 1 cup (122 g) raw cashews
  • 1/4 cup (19 g) nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt


  1. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor.
  2. Blend cashews until they look like bread crumbs.
  3. Store leftovers in the fridge. They will stay fresh for a least a few weeks.
