Curry chickpea salad is an easy and flavorful spread.  You can use it to top crackers or turn it into a sandwich for a filling lunch. 



  • 1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup vegan mayo or vegan sour cream
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon sriracha 



  1. Add the chickpeas to a bowl and mash with the back of a fork.
  2. Then add the rest of the ingredients and stir to combine.
  3. Start with 1/2 teaspoon of sriracha, then add more if needed.
  4. Serve with crackers or in a wrap.
